Caloy is a 22-year veteran of the music and radio broadcast industry. He’s seen and done it all: club DJ, rating morning show radio DJ, music program director, station manager and network creative director and voiceover. He is also an I.T. and open source enthusiast, a systems integrator and radio automation expert.
He now funnels all his energies into new media marketing and technology through audioWAV and its expansion to every available application imaginable. His business, marketing, sales, creative and technical skills gained through years in the industry have resulted into audioWAV being established as the leading provider of corporate audio solutions in the Asia-Pacific region.
Jj Sison | International Business Unit Director
Like the other audioWAV new media specialists, JJ is head and shoulders above the rest when it comes to instore radio. As one of the pioneering figures in audioWAV, he has successfully handled major instore radio subscription accounts and has proved to be a moving force behind audioWAV’s rapid growth in recent years. His vast experience in broadcasting and years of exposure to various brands and advertising agencies also contribute much to his remarkable performance as senior subscription director.
JJ is indeed a total package: a savvy marketing expert, an experienced event and radio/TV commercial voice talent and a confident new media specialist. Yet, when he’s free from work, he still spends time playing competitive Ultimate Frisbee, having been once a member of the national team.
Benny Hinolan | Subscription Director
Benny is a sniper—he makes his business proposals count and audioWAV’s new media services are his weapons of choice. Armed with tons of experience as a veteran radio man from major networks such as SBN and Quest and as a marketing and sales guy for some other reputable companies, Benny incessantly scouts for new business potentials and consistently adds more clients to audioWAV. His expertise on the installation of efficient sound systems is also a major contribution to the company. During his spare time, Benny takes nightly road runs to stay in shape and remain competitive in and out the office.
Hector Gloria | Subscription Director
Hec brings even more talent to an already talented audioWAV team. With more than two decades of experience in marketing, broadcasting, the performing arts and the academe, Hec’s drive for excellence and his perceptive intellect blend well with his colleagues. He is also a gifted radio and television personality, songwriter, singer, event manager and graphic designer. Outside the office, he can be found tinkering with gizmos and his beloved Mac.
Jonathan Tayco | Logistics Head
Atan is everybody’s best friend when logistics is of primary concern. Having gained invaluable experience working for major forwarders and logistics companies for years, Atan is capable of organizing and managing deliveries to numerous destinations, making sure they arrive on schedule and in perfect condition. On a daily basis, Atan efficiently supervises shipments to client stores from Luzon to Visayas to Mindanao. Today, his scope has even grown larger with shipments to and from suppliers in mainland China and offices in Australia and the US. During free time, Atan loves playing basketball and actually manages a team which recently took the championship in a local tourney.
Melanie Velasco | Special Operations Manager
Melai is a determined young lady with notable management skills and an eye for detail. And, as the manager for special operations, these benefits come handy as she implements projects nationwide. Before joining audioWAV, she has worked for a major radio network as Executive Assistant to the CEO and had plans of pursuing a career in education. Currently, she handles one of audioWAV’s high traffic venues and forays into sales, as well. On the side, she manages an up-and-coming band and organizes events.
JR Doblado | Technical Head, Mass Transit
JR is young at heart but in no way does he take his job lightly. As technical head for mass transit, he faces Goliath responsibilities every day, making sure audio in the trains pass the set standards. With background in computer systems, networking and electronics, JR is in charge of the updating, calibration and maintenance of the audio systems in all the MRT trains of Metro Manila. He doesn’t see it a problem working through graveyard shifts and he shares this with his crew who are now training with him. He is enthusiastic about the prospect of servicing the mass transit systems of neighboring Asian countries. When he finds some time to spare, JR loves surfing the net and playing online games.
Rene Dulguime | IT Head
If Q is to James Bond, Rene is definitely to audioWAV. Rene provides daily IT solutions to the company, takes the lead in software development for various new media applications and is a big advocate of automation. He gets a big credit for making the automation of the country’s mass transit audio systems possible. For Rene, the big challenge he usually faces is coming up with a working system with so little lead time. So far, Rene has overcome all the major IT challenges he has faced in audioWAV and he’s happy about it. A humble guy who just sticks to the task at hand, Rene surely loves trying out new computer applications and systems. Rene usually rides his motorcycle to office wearing a black jacket and signature boots.
Federico Oligario | Technical Head
Coming from a background that demanded hard work and dedication, Fed understands that no task is too small to be neglected. Being the technical head of audioWAV, he plays a vital role in the support and back-end operations of the company. His team prepares audioWAV’s pre-programmed music machines for use in client stores nationwide and provides technical support 24/7. Fed also helps in the maintenance of all other electronic equipment in the office. Aside from being a responsible team member, Fed is also a family man who spends quality time with his three kids whenever possible.
